An ADD ideas project CALMER GROUP COORDINATION
Concept · Prototype in developmentComiaunicaty explores a calmer place for groups to organise their everyday work. Announcements, events, tasks and decisions have a place of their own, with conversation alongside them. The aim is to make participation easier without making constant attention a requirement.
The concept
The prototype brings announcements, upcoming events, files and open tasks into a group overview, so useful information has somewhere to stay.
An exchange can lead to a task, poll or event. The prototype suggests structured follow-ups; a person chooses whether to create one.
RSVP to an event, vote in a poll or complete a task. These actions give the group a clearer picture of what has been decided and what still needs a response.
Catch-up views and notification preferences explore how to show relevant changes when someone returns. Calmer communication is the design goal, not a measured promise.
Invite joining, migration notes and read-only chat archive imports are part of the prototype. They offer a starting point for a group transition, without claiming a live bridge to other messengers.
Comiaunicaty
Give a group a shared place for its announcements, dates, files and responsibilities.
Discuss the issue, then record the event, decision or task where people can find and respond to it.
Return to the group's relevant changes and open actions, with room to choose what deserves attention.
Current status
The project has a browser-based development prototype. This website presents the direction and invites discussion; a public application or demo is not offered here yet.
Comiaunicaty
Conversation is part of the concept. The focus is group coordination: keeping events, tasks, announcements and decisions understandable and easy to return to.
No. The prototype can collect selected structured information from connected remote servers. That limited aggregation is distinct from the federation envisioned for the project.
